Orange Ribbons For Jaime First Annual Dance Party Gala Fundraiser
Orange Ribbons For Jaime hosted its first annual Dance Party Gala at the Loft At Congress in Boca Raton, FL! Proceeds raised support the organization’s newest initiative in partnership with Moss Creek Goldendoodles “Paws Of Love,” a program dedicated to providing emotional support dogs to eligible individuals and families that have been affected by gun violence. It was a wonderful night of dancing, tributes, and giving back to a meaningful cause.
Moss Creek Goldendoodles
In support of our new initiative “PAWS OF LOVE”, we partnered with Moss Creek Goldendoodles, which will provide free of charge, emotional support dogs to eligible individuals and families that are directly affected by gun violence. Moss Creek Goldendoodles is a premium, veterinarian recommended home breeder of English Goldendoodle Puppies – located in Sunny Central Florida. They are committed to the research, development and improvement of the English Goldendoodle dog breed. Moss Creek specializes and strives to produce healthy dogs with wonderful temperaments.
February #ForeverJaime
In honor of Jaime, ORFJ started an initiative called February’s #ForeverJaime Fundraiser. The fundraising initiative partners with an array of local & national businesses that make contributions either directly to the organization, and/or pledge to donate a percentage of sales. Through this effort, we have raised more than $90,000 to date!
DANCE-A-THON
After the success of ORFJ’s 2019 Dance-A-Thon, we relaunched the Dance-A-Thon in 2021, which included a National Virtual Dance Party Event on October 23rd, as well as in person dance parties at locations across the country throughout the month of October. Location sign up was FREE, and ALL registrants paid $25 to participate in the event, and upon registering received a link to the National Virtual Dance Party Event as well as a fundraising link.
Hundreds of friends and families gathered for Orange Ribbons For Jaime’s Virtual Dance Party to honor and celebrate the life of Jaime Guttenberg. In the end, the 2021 Dance-A-Thon raised more than $85,000! Proceeds went towards helping to continue expanding the organization’s initiatives, including funding the college scholarships for kids of ALL abilities,and a new initiative that will be introduced to help support families affected by gun violence.
Auction-A-Thon
Because we were unable to come together for our Dance-A-Thon in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, ORFJ held a virtual Buy It Now Auction-A-Thon! Our second Aution-A-Thon was held again in 2022. Thanks to our generous donors, we have been able to raise more than $20,000 to date. Proceeds from this initiative went directly towards funding our Scholarships for students of ALL abilities in 2021, as well as our new initiative PAWS OF LOVE.

Father's Day Raffle 2021
In recognition of Father’s Day, supporters were encouraged to buy raffle tickets for their chance to win The Ultimate Father’s Day Basket (which included up $3,500 in gift cards and experiences). Local and national businesses provided us with items for the basket, and supporters had the option of purchasing 1 ticket for $10, 5 tickets for $25, 15 tickets for $50, and 40 tickets for $100. In the end, we raised more than $4,000!
COMEDY NIGHT 2020
Members of the South Florida community had a special opportunity to attend a star-studded comedy show in support of our organization! “An Evening of Laughter” Comedy Night Fundraiser took place at the Parker Playhouse in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Wednesday, February 19th at 8pm. The show brought laughter and smiles to hundreds and featured nationally-recognized comedians Alonzo Bodden (NBCʼs Last Comic Standing, Dr. Ken, Fresh Off the Boat, The Tonight Show), Jim Breuer (Saturday Night Live, Half-Baked, ESPN SportsCenter), and Jessica Kirson (The Comedian, The Howard Stern Show, The Tonight Show, The View). In the end, we raised more than $40,000 to support our programs & initiatives!
